In 11.02.2006 (this Saturday) the diva of Turkish rock Sebnem Ferah was performing in Bostanci Gosteri Merkezi which is an important concert area in Istanbul Turkiye. She was singing her own songs, especailly from her last studio album: "Can Kiriklari". She also performed a cover after saying "I didn't do covers for a long time in Istanbul. Tonight I want to sing 'Gates of Bablyon' from Rainbow. Sometimes I make covers in my concerts, because I want you to learn where we come from. These groups and singers are our inspiration sources, teachers, reasons we begin to music and idols". Hearing Ronnie James Dio's lyrics from Sebnem Ferah's voice and Ritchie Blackmore's guitar solos from Metin Turkcan's guitar (he was a member of Pentagram which is a group known as MezarKabul in Europe) were preferential for Sebo fans. This event was organised by Pioneer CCC and some other organisations. Needless to say, the crowd turn-out was fantastic. This is another recorded version from my mobile phone. Sorry for the blur images as thats the best my Nokia N70 phone can do. I zoomed the best i can. It was some brilliant strategy by the organisers there engaging superstars to lure the crowd to Jurong West.(I myself is staying Aljunied) Kelvin Chen Wei Lian was there too.
