In 11.02.2006 (this Saturday) the diva of Turkish rock Sebnem Ferah was performing in Bostanci Gosteri Merkezi which is an important concert area in Istanbul Turkiye. She was singing her own songs, especailly from her last studio album: "Can Kiriklari". She also performed a cover after saying "I didn't do covers for a long time in Istanbul. Tonight I want to sing 'Gates of Bablyon' from Rainbow. Sometimes I make covers in my concerts, because I want you to learn where we come from. These groups and singers are our inspiration sources, teachers, reasons we begin to music and idols". Hearing Ronnie James Dio's lyrics from Sebnem Ferah's voice and Ritchie Blackmore's guitar solos from Metin Turkcan's guitar (he was a member of Pentagram which is a group known as MezarKabul in Europe) were preferential for Sebo fans. This historical moment was recorded by my mobile phone, however the recorder wasn't me. My friend Tolga recorded this with my mobile phone. He was at back and I think he doesn't know how to zoom with Sony Ericsson k700i. That's why the video's quality is bad. You don't have to watch. As part of the "Turn It On Tour" (sorry, "Turn It On SELECTION OF SHOWS!") Genesis hit my local city of Manchester (England, United Kingdom UK, Great Britain) yesterday. I support Manchester United so it made it extra special for me to see my favourite band play at my favourite football team's stadium. I did not film the whole show as I wanted a bit of a dance and a sing. Plus my arm started to ache after about 10 minutes of holding the camera in the air and it also was a bit annoying to keep checking that I had a good image because I wanted to watch the show! It is not excellent quality as it was only filmed on my mobile phone (Sony K800i). This is where Phil talks to us for the first time. As well as being a really good singer, drummer and performer he demonstrates his excellent ability to interact with the crowd. Scott Weiland paid tribute to his recently deceased brother on Thursday, during the first show of a brief North American tour to promote the band's upcoming second album. Michael Weiland died of a drug overdose during the recording of "Libertad," and a brother of drummer Matt Sorum died about the same time in similar circumstances, the singer told the crowd at the Avalon Hollywood club. "It literally crushed us," said Weiland, who has long struggled with drugs himself. "It made this record happen for both of us." He then turned his back to the crowd to sing Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," with Sorum singing harmony, as he looked up at a video screen playing home video footage of Michael, his wife and two young daughters.
