I first wanted to participate in September's ten-min-mix competition, but I noticed some things weren't right: First: the audio skips sometimes. I don't know how this is possible, but it does skip. Just bad luck for me. Second: I thought my mobile phone had better video quality than my webcam, so I recorded my mix with it. But I forgot I didn't have much space on the internal memory left, so it stopped around 7 minutes ... Third (almost forgot): The video isn't really synced the best with the music. So please don't complain about it ;) I combined my timecode setup with normal vinyl. Only the right deck uses timecode vinyl. One of their B-Sides. It was a B-Side on "All I Want Is You", the last single release of "Rattle And Hum" in June 1989, beside of "Everlasting Love" the other B-Side of this record. Well, I really fell in love with that song. I'm sorry for being an newbie on music, the first version I ever heard from the beginning till end was the Gareth Gates cover and so I got to know the Righteous Brothers version, which is 1000 times better. The band has started work on their new album, the follow-up to their highly successful debut titled Contraband. The all-star band features ex-Guns N' Roses members McKagan, Matt Sorum, and Slash paired with ex-Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland. McKagan gave a sneak peak at what the band has been up to. My thoughts: You might hear a different beep throughout the songs. This is clearing the phone's screen of all the numbers keyed in, because the phone can only key in 40 numbers at most, and the closer you reach to 40, the slower it goes. Feel free to say I have a s***ty phone, because I do. Also, I'm actually not that great when it comes to playing music myself. But hey, it's creative fun, using a cell phone like this. (..less)
