In 11.02.2006 (this Saturday) the diva of Turkish rock Sebnem Ferah was performing in Bostanci Gosteri Merkezi which is an important concert area in Istanbul Turkiye. She was singing her own songs, especailly from her last studio album: "Can Kiriklari". She also performed a cover after saying "I didn't do covers for a long time in Istanbul. Tonight I want to sing 'Gates of Bablyon' from Rainbow. Sometimes I make covers in my concerts, because I want you to learn where we come from. These groups and singers are our inspiration sources, teachers, reasons we begin to music and idols". Hearing Ronnie James Dio's lyrics from Sebnem Ferah's voice and Ritchie Blackmore's guitar solos from Metin Turkcan's guitar (he was a member of Pentagram which is a group known as MezarKabul in Europe) were preferential for Sebo fans. As part of the "Turn It On Tour" (sorry, "Turn It On SELECTION OF SHOWS!") Genesis hit my local city of Manchester (England, United Kingdom UK, Great Britain) yesterday. I support Manchester United so it made it extra special for me to see my favourite band play at my favourite football team's stadium. I did not film the whole show as I wanted a bit of a dance and a sing. Plus my arm started to ache after about 10 minutes of holding the camera in the air and it also was a bit annoying to keep checking that I had a good image because I wanted to watch the show! It is not excellent quality as it was only filmed on my mobile phone (Sony K800i). This one features the medley of "Firth of Fifth" (with Daryl Stuermer doing his excellent guitar solo) and "I Know What I Like (In your Wardrobe)". (..less)

A montage I made for my daughter's 3rd birthday, last September. She's the most beautiful thing in the world and the most amazing thing I ever created. I made this for her and my family but I thought I'd like to share with anyone out there, who happens upon this clip, how much I love Isabelle and how cute she is. Also, with Mother's Day, I thought it would be nice for her mum as well. Yes, I know... Quite how an ugly bugger like me managed to make her I'll never know! She gets her looks from her mum, I think! And she bears a remarkable resemblance to our milkman at the time... :) Sorry for the poor video quality of the little clip in the middle, it was taken on my mobile phone at the time and is low resolution. But it was a rather magical moment and the movie wouldn't be the same without it. Also featuring her mum, grandma, great grandma and me. The soundtrack is John Lennon's "Imagine" and Keane's "Hamburg Song".
