Some shots of the Saylorville spillway/dam in Des Moines, Iowa, Rosamond Gifford zoo with a real lion in the backround, A Family Force 5 and Street Drum Corps concert filmed at Warped tour 2007, Wacky Chad the professional busker, rafting in Syracuse, New York, and some shots from Goshen, Indiana. As part of the "Turn It On Tour" (sorry, "Turn It On SELECTION OF SHOWS!") Genesis hit my local city of Manchester (England, United Kingdom UK, Great Britain) yesterday. I support Manchester United so it made it extra special for me to see my favourite band play at my favourite football team's stadium. I did not film the whole show as I wanted a bit of a dance and a sing. Plus my arm started to ache after about 10 minutes of holding the camera in the air and it also was a bit annoying to keep checking that I had a good image because I wanted to watch the show! It is not excellent quality as it was only filmed on my mobile phone (Sony K800i). This is where Phil talks to us for the first time. As well as being a really good singer, drummer and performer he demonstrates his excellent ability to interact with the crowd. Scott Weiland paid tribute to his recently deceased brother on Thursday, during the first show of a brief North American tour to promote the band's upcoming second album. Michael Weiland died of a drug overdose during the recording of "Libertad," and a brother of drummer Matt Sorum died about the same time in similar circumstances, the singer told the crowd at the Avalon Hollywood club. "It literally crushed us," said Weiland, who has long struggled with drugs himself. "It made this record happen for both of us." He then turned his back to the crowd to sing Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," with Sorum singing harmony, as he looked up at a video screen playing home video footage of Michael, his wife and two young daughters.
