Today I was curious...what would happen if I put my cell phone near a compass? This shows the result. So how do cell phones affect animals with built in "compasses" that tell them where to go and when to migrate? What about the birds and the bees? No pun intended. Sorry that the camera moved a lot. I couldn't get my tripod at the angle I wanted. Try it yourself and feel free to post a video response. See if you can get a compass needle to move even more crazily than mine did. (more) (..less)

As part of the "Turn It On Tour" (sorry, "Turn It On SELECTION OF SHOWS!") Genesis hit my local city of Manchester (England, United Kingdom UK, Great Britain) yesterday. I support Manchester United so it made it extra special for me to see my favourite band play at my favourite football team's stadium. I did not film the whole show as I wanted a bit of a dance and a sing. Plus my arm started to ache after about 10 minutes of holding the camera in the air and it also was a bit annoying to keep checking that I had a good image because I wanted to watch the show! It is not excellent quality as it was only filmed on my mobile phone (Sony K800i). This is where Phil talks to us for the first time. As well as being a really good singer, drummer and performer he demonstrates his excellent ability to interact with the crowd.
