This is actual footage of my house under attack by a teenage gang back in 2001. I have cut out about a minutes worth where I had called the police on my mobile phone and gave them my details. It all started when I caught 3 of them in the act of vandalising the lights at the front of my house which resulted in me having an altercation with one of them. They left and came back with a gang of about 10. I was waiting for them with my Handycam camera and video taped the whole incident. The good news is after the police came and watched the video, the police arrested 3 of them after a short search in the area. (..less)

Posted here is a short film I shot whilst working on the FilmON project in Uzbekistan. It's a little documentary that was shot on my mobile phone camera about my time over there. The film is a bit disjointed and this was due to me nearly causing an international incident. Basically I was shooting some footage from my car when we went past an [unidentified] embassy whose security detail quickly chased me back to the hotel. I had to delete 30% of the footage which included a lot of good stuff. Working in Uzbekistan was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was terrific working with some truly talented local filmmakers (one of them had already made a gangster feature and broadcast on Russian television) and having excellent support from the British Council Uzbekistan office team. Sound quality ain't good coz of the audio mic and my touch-senseless upright piano which I rent.. negligible difference between loud and soft ffs~ Also I would like to admit that it's a bit rushed in the beginning becoz i was trying to make the first movement fit within 10 minutes.. as my previous recording i attempted was way past 10 min.
