Difficult calls for Utah Jazz fans to live with. Everyone knows that MJ pushed off on Bryon Russell on the go ahead shot in Game Six, and while it would have been very difficult for a ref to make the call against the premier player in the league there were two calls earlier in the game that may have changed the outcome of the game and given Jazz fans a Dick Bavetta complex. Play one: Howard Eisley's three is taken away due to a called 24 second violation with the Jazz up 4 with approxiamately 9:50 to play in the second quarter. Play two: Ron Harper hits a 2 point field goal as the shot clock expires to tie the game at 79 with 4:00 to play in the fourth quarter. Refs were not allowed to review the video for shot clock violations in 1998, and if they could have the Jazz certainly would have been awarded Eisley's three in the 2nd and Harper would not have been awarded 2 points in the 4th. As I could tell in an audio podcast a few days ago, Belkin made it's European Press Presentation in Amsterdam on 22nd of August. What I told in this podcast is that I've been able to test the use of the new Wireless WiFi Belkin Skype Phone with my Mobile Phone which is equipped with WiFi and Windows Mobile. My mobile phone which works on GSM network is a quadriband Qtek 9100. As we were experiencing the new Belkin draft N router called N1, I wanted to see whether my personal mobile phone would be able to connect to the network and having connections to Internet or whatever. My Qtek was already configured with skype that I use at each time I have a WiFi connection. It could work with a GPRS connection but I pay the amount of data for this type of use In fact, seing the new Belkin skype phone at the same time was also a good occasion to test it as a mobile phone equipment of the home with another device which is a real mobile phone in the terms that it works normally on GSM network even when it is connected with WiFi. I find that it gives a very mellow and subdued sad tone. So I came up with a storyline to fit this setting. So here it is. A very simple film about a boy who got dumped by his boyfriend, who found that he would rather lead a heterosexual lifestyle. The voiceover (done by yours truly) shows what is going on in our protagonist's head. The text apprearing on the screen is what our protagonist types on his mobile phone. I hope you enjoy it.
