Statement from friends: "THE BEST MOBILE PHONE VIDEO GAME TRAILER EVER!" Question: How can you make a trailer of a mobile phone game using nothing but in-game graphics? A mobile phone is so small, the graphics are no way as good as a Playstation 2 or Xbox so can you do it without using LIVE actors or anything of that sort? What is the best way to approach making a in-game trailer of a game that can run at most 15fps on a 176x220 screen? How can you make something that people normally wouldn't care about appear completely amazing? That was the challenge and I believe that I have delivered with the creation of this trailer. If you're wondering how come you're seeing a few mobile phone game trailers of late then let me honestly tell you that it was in response to this trailer. In 11.02.2006 (this Saturday) the diva of Turkish rock Sebnem Ferah was performing in Bostanci Gosteri Merkezi which is an important concert area in Istanbul Turkiye. She was singing her own songs, especailly from her last studio album: "Can Kiriklari". She also performed a cover after saying "I didn't do covers for a long time in Istanbul. Tonight I want to sing 'Gates of Bablyon' from Rainbow. Sometimes I make covers in my concerts, because I want you to learn where we come from. These groups and singers are our inspiration sources, teachers, reasons we begin to music and idols". Hearing Ronnie James Dio's lyrics from Sebnem Ferah's voice and Ritchie Blackmore's guitar solos from Metin Turkcan's guitar (he was a member of Pentagram which is a group known as MezarKabul in Europe) were preferential for Sebo fans. I support Manchester United so it made it extra special for me to see my favourite band play at my favourite football team's stadium. I did not film the whole show as I wanted a bit of a dance and a sing. Plus my arm started to ache after about 10 minutes of holding the camera in the air and it also was a bit annoying to keep checking that I had a good image because I wanted to watch the show! It is not excellent quality as it was only filmed on my mobile phone (Sony K800i). This is the start with a medley from the Duke album from 1980.
