My Spanish father is visiting the Netherlands for 2 weeks, and you can look at the fun Saturday, with complete randomness we had. I know, it is agony without my camcorder still, but something is better than nothing, and I trusted my mobile phone to record the castle tour and many bizarre family moments. If you're a fan of scenic roads and Spanish sing-along-songs, you should take the blockiness like a tough hombre, and watch! The dialogues are awesome! A tour of Athens new metro line Egaleo-Monastiraki including in between stations Eleonas and Keramikos. This is practically an extension of metro line 3 which connects the airport to the centre of town and now the suburbs to the west. Opened to the public on Thursday May 24th 2007. I shot this video with my mobile phone and edited it with Windows Movie Maker. I used erightsoft's SUPER to convert my mobile's 3GP files to AVIs for editing. (..less)

Scott Weiland paid tribute to his recently deceased brother on Thursday, during the first show of a brief North American tour to promote the band's upcoming second album. Michael Weiland died of a drug overdose during the recording of "Libertad," and a brother of drummer Matt Sorum died about the same time in similar circumstances, the singer told the crowd at the Avalon Hollywood club. "It literally crushed us," said Weiland, who has long struggled with drugs himself. "It made this record happen for both of us." He then turned his back to the crowd to sing Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," with Sorum singing harmony, as he looked up at a video screen playing home video footage of Michael, his wife and two young daughters. The concert was a benefit for Michael Weiland's family. (..less)
