Rumors surrounding the demise of Velvet Revolver are false, according to the band's bassist Duff McKagan. The band has started work on their new album, the follow-up to their highly successful debut titled Contraband. The all-star band features ex-Guns N' Roses members McKagan, Matt Sorum, and Slash paired with ex-Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland. McKagan gave a sneak peak at what the band has been up to. "Uh, you know we're just kind of in the middle of the whole thing. The songs are written, we've recorded stuff, we're going to continue recording."
