What is UphoneBlog?

It is simply an easy way to share your life in real time with your mobile phone.
You can send pictures or videos from your mobile in real time directly to your blog or website.
You can dowload videos and photos for your phone, meet friends, meet people, comment on mobile videos, photos of other users, and more...

How I do use?
|
|
With your mobile phone, take a picture or record a video. Write a multimedia message (mms) or email, and send it to:
yourusername-yourpassword@uphoneblog.com
If your username is "Tom" and your password is "hello", you have to send the message to:
tom-hello@uphoneblog.com
(Do not forget to type the "-" between your username and your password).
Your picture or video will appear in your blog or website as soon as you send it off.
You, your family, friends can watch your photos and videos in real time in:
www.uphoneblog.com/yourusername
There are 3 ways to upload pictures or videos.
1) You can send it via MMS or email from your mobile phone. (explained above)
2) You can send it as attachment from a computer by any webmail (hotmail, gmail, yahoo..), Outlook Express or any email account.
3) Or you can upload directly here by logging in to your Uphoneblog account.
Here is An example, of my cell phone:
First, I take a picture, then in my phone, I:
* Press New message
* Select MMS (multimedia message)
* Select Menu > Recipients > Add
* Scroll to the contact list and select the Recipient(i added as a contact in my contacts list my
username-password@uphoneblog.com)
* Type in a subject using some short text, which will be the Title of my post
* Type the text (body of message), which will show up under my image or video as a description
* Select Send

Can I send Private Videos or Photos?
|
|
If you want to send private videos or photos that only you and selected friends can see, you have to send the message to:
yourusername-yourpassword-p@uphoneblog.com
If your username is "Tom" and your password is "hello", you have to send the message to:
tom-hello-p@uphoneblog.com
(Do not forget to type the "-p" after your your password).
The "-p" means that this photo or video is private.

Phone Requirements?
|
|
The only one requirement for your mobile phone to work with UphoneBlog is the mms (multimedia message) feature.
If your phone can not send mms or email messages, you have to ask your mobile service provider to activate this option (it is very easy, and usually all companies offer this service).
No matter what kind of mobile phone make, model or mobile service provider you use, Uphoneblog will work with all.

Can I use it in my country?
|
|
Yes, you can use Uphoneblog in any country.
No matter where you live and where you are, all you need is a mobile phone that can send multimedia messages (mms) or emails.

|
How long does the video or photo take to appear?
|
|
Usually it takes 5 to 10 minutes for the mobile video or photo to appear in your UphoneBlog blog, or your own website or blog.
It can take longer, as it will depend on your mobile phone service provider.

Any cost?
|
|
UphoneBlog is Free to use. However, your mobile service provider may charge you for sending MMS or Email messages (check with your service provider for details).

How can I add my mobile photos or videos in my Blog?
|
|
When you login in to your uphoneblog account, you can simply copy the player code and paste it into your own blog or website.
You will have your own player with the last 25 pictures or last 10 videos that you sent in real time.
You do not have to do anything else, it is very easy.
You take your picture, you send it, and you will see it in your own blog.
